Risky Games–Romain Kremer’s eccen­tric design sense comes together with Nicola Formichetti’s out­landish style choices for Mugler’s spring 2012 col­lec­tion. A chaotic mix of future aspi­ra­tions, the club scene and the eight­ies, the lat­est range comes together with a vast cast of char­ac­ters. While suit­ing enjoys a cou­ple of strik­ing moments, a high­lighter green spawn of a wardrobe in bold cuts steals the show amongst a turn to cut­away gar­ments that left Mugler’s man scant­ily clad, whether it was a cropped mus­cle top or a lack of shorts. From glit­tery sequins and acid washed denim to a post indus­trial motif, Mugler achieved a show of head turn­ing proportions.
