Risky Games–Romain Kremer’s eccentric design sense comes together with Nicola Formichetti’s outlandish style choices for Mugler’s spring 2012 collection. A chaotic mix of future aspirations, the club scene and the eighties, the latest range comes together with a vast cast of characters. While suiting enjoys a couple of striking moments, a highlighter green spawn of a wardrobe in bold cuts steals the show amongst a turn to cutaway garments that left Mugler’s man scantily clad, whether it was a cropped muscle top or a lack of shorts. From glittery sequins and acid washed denim to a post industrial motif, Mugler achieved a show of head turning proportions.
